Julia Jackson of Jackson Family Wines Gives Back to Communites across the Globe

As a member of the International sales team at Jackson Family Wines, Julie Jackson helps her family promote Jackson Family’s collection of wines throughout the world. The Jackson family owns wine vineyards not only in the United States, but also Chile, Australia, France, Italy and South Africa as well. There are over 15 mouthwatering handcrafted wines to choose from, such as Château Lassègue, a French wine, produced in the Jackson’s family Saint-Émilion vineyard in Bordeaux, France.

Julia Jackson (Julia) attended Scripps College, Claremont, Calif., where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art in 2010. It was later that she studied management at the Stanford Summer Institute of General Management to help manage the Jackson Family Wines.

In 2014, Julia helped develop the nonprofit group Cambria Seeds Of Empowerment. The nonprofit group was establishing to support Cambria Estate Winery in Santa Maria, Calif., a vineyard established by Julie’s mother in the late 1980s. Cambria Seeds Of Empowerment donates thousands of dollars yearly in grants to various charities and groups to help inspire young women succeed and be a good role model in society. The nonprofit program also supports the Santa Maria Valley community to honor women who has made a positive impact throughout the world. Of the varietal of wines that Jackson Family Wines produces in their vineyards in Calif., Julia argues that the best place for making Cabernet wine is in Sonoma County. Other popular wines produced by the Jackson Family Wines in Sonoma include both Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. Julia believes that Cabernet wines also do well in Sonoma, such as Vérité La Joie, a Cabernet wine popular at Cambria Estate Winery.
